What You’ll See / Experience
At first visit the monastery of Saint Simon the Tanner which is situated inside the mountain. The monastery on this Cairo Day tour comprises of seven churches; all of them are imprinted inside the mountain. Your guide will present you and preface about the Christianity of Egypt. When You’ll Go
This 3 hour Cairo day tour normally heads off at 9:00am from Cairo or Giza Hotels. Driver or guide also drops you in hotel at the end of the trip. A dress code is necessary to go into places of devotion and special museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops permitted. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may encounter refused entry if you fail to conform to these dress codes.
