Description

Where you’ll go

Nairobi is a sprawling and bustling city and on this tour you’ll profit by a neighborhood guide at your side who’ll demonstrate the sights as well as having a taste of some local food.

What you’ll see

After an introduction with your local guide, we’ll explore Nairobi! Walking the streets of the city and travelling by public transport will provide plenty of opportunities to mingle with the locals as they go about their daily lives. Your Nairobi walking tour will begin with a stroll through Uhuru Park, in the heart of the city, before wandering past the parliament and the mausoleum of the first president of Kenya, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

This Nairobi tour continues with a look at the Kenyatta Conference Centre and the August 7th Memorial Park, which was built to commemorate the bombing of the US Embassy. You’ll also have a chance to visit the Kenya National Archives and various other sites within the city centre.

Another local experience is the food, so it’s no surprise that this Nairobi city tour includes sampling cuisine for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, your Nairobi walking tour will return to the meeting point.
