Description

Nairobi Walking Tour summary – Perfect way to witness the most famous landmarks and sights around Nairobi while also having a taste of the local culture.

Where You’ll Go

Find yourself at the very heart of East Africa’s financial hub and exploring the lesser known areas of a most vibrant city. Lasting no more than 5 hours, this Nairobi walking tour includes a traditional lunch and an encounter with some of the city’s culture.

What You’ll See / Experience

Visit Uluru Park on this trip to the city centre and learn all about the local culture as you stroll on foot through the city. What better way to see the world than on foot right? Also included on this Nairobi walking tour is the Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Mausoleum and Kenyan parliament buildings but lets not forget there is a brief trip to the August 7 Memorial Park which was the tragic scene for the US Embassy bombing in 1998.

After meeting your tour guide for the Nairobi Walking Tour you will immediately hit the streets and explore the local area. The park is an early stop where you will see the leafy side you never heard about and then the opposite follows, with a walk into the urban areas. Walking past the parliament building and the final resting place of the first president in Kenya, you will then visit memorial park.

Lunch follows in a local restaurant and you will then return on foot to the starting point.
