The visit commences with a charming and peaceful boat ride from the V&A Waterfront to the noteworthy Robben Island. Once on the island, you will be accompanied by a local tour guide for a tour through the jail where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 27 years. From that point, visitors can appreciate a guided tour, exhibiting the wonders of nature that reside in this lovely treasure locked by water. Once the island visit is finished, you will bounce onto the ferry to the V&A Waterfront, for a scrumptious lunch with a visit to the Cape Town Diamond Museum afterwards. Feeling revived and restored, you’ll advance toward Table Mountain, which is no more than a 15 minute away. When you touch base at the base of this common monster that commands the City, appreciate a stupendous cable car ride of 2.5 minute to the summit. At the top, visitors are awestruck with spectacular views, intriguing flora and fauna and stunningly reflective lakes. The calm, yet awesome environment will keep you entertained long enough of a time to make you thirsty. Put your worries aside, because a great coffeehouse where you can take a seat and bask in the peacefulness with a hot or cool drink is close by.
