Where You’ll Go
An introduction to culture in Zanzibar! Come along with us for an easygoing get together with kindred voyagers and meet local people who can let you know where to go, what to do, and how to benefit as much as possible from your time in Zanzibar.
What You’ll See
Need a fast introduction to the city? Put aside your manual and get the Zanzibar scoop straight from the individuals who know it best: the local people.
Come along with us for a get together at the Old Fort fundamental passageway. From that point, we’ll continue to the Forodhani Gardens, where local folks get together after sunset for a latte, a meal, and news.
You’ll see the Forodhani Gardens night market on the streets, and your guide will help you locate the best cuisine to taste at a good price. Forodhani is loaded with Zanzibari treats, as Zanzibari pizza, fruits, mishikaki (fresh chips with meat), shawarma, sugar stick juice, and urojo soup. It’s best to purchase the products with a local standing next to you, to keep you away from the booths not serving the best choices.
In the wake of selecting our meal, we’ll take a seat at an establishment close-by, order our beverages, and get insights from locals to Stone Town and Zanzibar.
Consider it a get together and an information booth — get the tips from the individuals who are well learned, then unwind with some new companions. There’s no better approach to experience neighborhood life in Zanzibar!
