We’ll take a break here for a bite to eat, but not just any bite to eat! You’ll be invited into a local home for some authentic Bedouin food. We’ll take a nice relaxing breather from all the history, and get to know some local culture through the Bedouin people and their cuisine. Sit back and enjoy a cup of local tea, and take some photos of your very unique surroundings – you’ll want some memories of this special occasion for sure!
After we’ve fueled up with food, we’ll set out on the serious adventure of the day. We’ll take a ride in our vehicle out into the desert, where we’ll meet our local Bedouin hosts who’ll have some friends in tow – camels! Say hello to your new mode of transport, hop on their backs, and take a camel trek into the desert plateau. We’ll head towards the Nawamis, a collection of Bronze Age tombs in the Sinai desert. This UNESCO World Heritage Site dates back thousands and thousands of years, and you’ll feel right in the mood to visit them as you trek up to them on the back of a camel! We’ll take some time here to explore our surroundings, and learn all about this area, rich in history.
Fully clued up on desert life in Egypt, we’ll get back in our vehicle and take a drive back towards Dahab, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel. No doubt you’ll need a rest after this Sinai desert adventure!
