Where you’ll go
Get the complete Masai experience while supporting a local non-profit devoted to ease poverty. Head past Nairobi to the amazing Ngong Hills, where you’ll learn how to make Masai gems, the dances and songs of the local culture.
What you’ll see
This Nairobi visit runs in association with One Horizon Africa, a not forprofit association committed to reducing poverty in Kenya and South Africa and holds no religious or political affiliations. Visits are overseen by a devoted staffing group who have considerable experience with travel and tourism, and have joined the group on account of their dedication to helping their kindred natives.
Your Nairobi visit will be led by two Masai tribeswomen and sisters who learned making the Masai adornments from their grandma. Sitting under cool acacia trees, you will make your own Masai bracelet under their instruction, utilizing the Masai color codes. Best of all, you’ll get to keep yours as a souvenir.
If you like, you can participate in the Masai dance and sings.
